Some personal work…

I’ve been working on this project for the past 8 months or so. My friend Natalie has been so patient with me.  I really wanted to do a shoot focusing on femininity and the human form. My original idea didn’t work out quite as well as I wanted it to, so we had to shoot a second time. I’m so grateful to have such a talented friend!
Personal work is a must for any photographer. It helps refine my vision for my photography and keeps me excited about what I do.

Kim + Brad

I had the awesome opportunity to assist my good friend Kirstin at this wedding in Bear Lake. It was so much fun to not be the one in charge. It gave me the opportunity to try and capture all the little details of the day that are often forgotten.
If you haven’t, go and check out Kirstin’s work. I’m always amazed at her work. She has such an amazing talent for capturing every little detail and putting it together to make a beautiful story (check out her birth stories, they make me cry, seriously). Plus, she’s the most kind and funny person I’ve ever met.

Huge thanks to Rachel for modeling and Mimi Moyo for doing the hair and make up!
Shot with the beautiful and super talented Kirstin Roper!

Black and White images shot on Yashica Mat 124G on Delta 400
I never want to shoot digital again. Seriously.
