Alex & Hannah

I fell in love with this dress the moment I laid eyes on it. It seems as though it was made for Hannah! I’m so grateful for everyone who helped put this together. Thanks so much to Alex, Hannah for modeling, Jennifer with Flawless Make up and Melinda with Les Bouquets! Dress by Adrianna Papell.

Hannah & Daniel

I’ve been a little MIA here on the blog lately. There are multiple reasons really. First of all, do people still blog? It doesn’t seem like it, huh? Second, I moved half way across the country!
Amy Rau Photography is now in St. Louis, Missouri!
About a month ago my husband and I moved here so he could attend Occupational Therapy school at Washington University School of Medicine. We’ve fallen in love with this place in the short amount of time we’ve been here. We love living near downtown, in a big city with lots of diversity. There are so many free things to do! And all sorts of events every week. And SO MANY nice people!
Speaking of nice people, I was able to get together with some other film shooters in the area for this fun shoot a few weeks ago. It was so fun to meet new people, chat about film and our love for photography. Oh it was amazing. We photographed Hannah & Daniel in Forest Park on beautiful Tuesday evening. All these images were shot on Fuji 400H film on a Mamiya 645AF and a Canon EOS 3. Developed and scanned at theFINDlab in Orem, Utah! A huge thank you to Lisa Dolan Photography for finding this beautiful couple to model for us!

ashley + vaughn :: anniversary session

I’m so excited to share Ashley & Vaughn’s anniversary session at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
Ashley is an awesome photographer and florist! She designed this beautiful bouquet for this session.
First few images were shot on my Mamiya 645AF on a mix of Portra 400 & 800, developed and scanned by theFINDlab.
