-My interest in photography started in my film photo class years ago. The magic that happens in a darkroom is something that I will never get over. It truly is MAGIC. I’ve been photographing weddings and families ever since taking that first photo class (over 10 years ago!). Over the past few years, I’ve discovered my heart belongs in documenting happy families.
-Motherhood inspires me. I find inspiration in my day to day interactions with my own children, as well as the interactions I see between my clients and their children. It is those small, seemingly insignificant interactions that so quickly disappear where I find the most beauty. The gentle touch of a first time dad holding his newborn daughter, the ridiculous smile a two year old gives to his mother, the day to day humdrum that in time means everything. Is everything. I truly believe that relationships and love are really what life is all about. And that is what I capture. Those sweet moments because they are fleeting. And we all want to remember them. Keep them.
