Why Beautiful Family Photos Don’t Require Perfect Behavior
As a mom, I get it—you want your family photos to be beautiful, meaningful, and… maybe just a little bit calm? But if the thought of your kids squirming, running wild, or refusing to smile is stressing you out, I have good news:

We often imagine a perfectly posed photo where everyone smiles at the same time, but the truth is, that’s not what you’ll treasure most years from now. You’ll remember the way your toddler twirled in her dress, or how your son buried his face in your shoulder when he got shy.
At my portrait studio in OKC, I focus on capturing connection, not perfection. Because your real life—the messy, magical, full-of-love version—is worth remembering.
