Capturing the Joy of New Life | Tulsa Newborn Photographer

Maternity & Newborn

I’ve had the privilege of working with so many wonderful families, and this one is particularly dear to me. Laura, a talented wedding photographer in Tulsa, is also a close friend. Not long ago, I had the honor of capturing her branding session on film, and just last month, I was lucky enough to travel to her home to photograph their precious new baby girl. As a Tulsa newborn photographer, it’s a beautiful experience to watch friends become parents, and it was especially special to witness Laura and her husband welcoming their sweet daughter, Evie.

Evie is truly a lucky little girl to have such loving, creative, and supportive parents. The session was filled with tenderness, and I couldn’t help but feel honored to be part of their journey. The connection between them was so natural and full of love, and it was a joy to document these early moments of their family’s new chapter.

Being a Tulsa newborn photographer allows me to capture these fleeting moments — the tiny details, the soft snuggles, and the undeniable bond between a family welcoming their newborn. It’s a reminder of how important it is to preserve these early days before they pass in the blink of an eye.

If you’re expecting and want to capture those precious early moments, I’d love to work with you. Reach out today to schedule your session!

My love for photography began in a high school darkroom, watching images slowly appear. Since then, I’ve been drawn to quiet, meaningful moments rooted in connection and home. As a mother of three and a film photographer, I approach each story with care, seeking what’s honest and lasting.

Here on the blog, you’ll find recent sessions, tips, and reflections—whether you’re a fellow creative, a brand, or a mother wanting to capture this season. I hope it leaves you inspired and more in love with your own story.
