Branding Session for Tulsa Wedding Photographer | Oklahoma City Headshot Photographer

Branding

As an Oklahoma City headshot photographer, I love working with other creatives to showcase their unique brands. Recently, I photographed a beautiful branding session for Laura Eddy, an incredibly talented and kind wedding photographer based in Tulsa.

Branding sessions and headshot sessions may sound similar, but they serve different purposes. Headshot sessions focus mainly on you with simple, clean portraits. Meanwhile, branding sessions dive deeper into your business story by using props, locations, and details that reflect your work.

During Laura’s session, we incorporated her camera, a few favorite prints, and cozy touches like a coffee cup and notebook. These small details helped tell the full story of her brand — warm, artistic, and thoughtful.

Laura shared the sweetest words about her experience:
“Where do I even begin? Amy is one of the sweetest, most genuine, and overall kind photographers that I’ve ever met or shot with. I needed new and unique photos of myself for my business and hiring Amy was the best decision! I loved every single photo from our session! She was so easy to work with from our first consultation over the phone and on the day of shooting she just made everything feel so easy going. She was a breath of fresh air and I’m already itching to do another shoot with her!”

If you are considering booking an Oklahoma City headshot photographer, think about whether you need just a few portraits or a full brand story. Branding sessions offer flexibility and a wider range of images for websites, marketing, and social media.

Working with Laura was such a joy, and sessions like this remind me how powerful and personal brand photography can be! Get in touch to start planning your session!

My love for photography began in a high school darkroom, watching images slowly appear. Since then, I’ve been drawn to quiet, meaningful moments rooted in connection and home. As a mother of three and a film photographer, I approach each story with care, seeking what’s honest and lasting.

Here on the blog, you’ll find recent sessions, tips, and reflections—whether you’re a fellow creative, a brand, or a mother wanting to capture this season. I hope it leaves you inspired and more in love with your own story.
