Marcelle and I connected earlier this year through Facebook after she had posted about finding a birth story photographer in St Louis. We came to find out that we are basically family! Marcelle’s husband, Scott is my cousin’s husband’s brother. Got that?
I’ve been dying to shoot a birth story for years, but have never had the schedule to make it happen. It was such an incredible experience and I’m so grateful Marcelle & Scott trusted me to be there to capture this beautiful moment. One thing that made it even more special was that Scott was able to help deliver the baby (he just finished med school and is doing his residency here in St Louis, hence the St Louis University scrubs).
